Communal Life
We involve everyone in the eCommunal Lifeconomic life of the village to become economically self-sufficient. Projects such as farming, livestock breeding, sewing workshops, the bakery and our village shop were established for this purpose. In ecological houses made of clay and in the gardens in front of each house, vegetables are cultivated and a culture that is as self-sufficient as possible is created.

Ecology & Economy

Woman working in the Jinwar’s field.
In addition, the village’s large garden and trees are maintained and collectively looked after and the income is used for needs and new projects. Every woman takes part in these jobs on the basis of her abilities, what she has learned, what she likes and knows. Our goal is to create an economy that is as self-sufficient as possible.
The economic system in the village works in a communal-cooperative way. Through these works we have become even more aware of the psychological effects of being dependent on men, family or the exploitation of our bodies and our labor.
